Quote Follow-Up

Follow up every sent quote at the right moment so opportunities are not lost to silence or delayed outreach.

The problem

You prepare a quote and send it to the customer. Then you wait.

A few days pass. No response. You mean to follow up but something else comes up. A week later you still have not heard back. By then it feels awkward to reach out and you move on.

Most quotes are not lost because the customer was not interested. They are lost because nobody followed up at the right moment.

How it works

When a quote is sent, the clock starts. If no response arrives within a set number of days, one of two things happens automatically:

The responsible person receives a notification with a draft follow-up email ready to review and send
Or the follow-up is sent to the customer directly without manual input

The follow-up references the original quote and asks for a status update. If there is still no response after a second wait period, a final follow-up goes out closing the loop.

What changes

Every sent quote gets followed up consistently regardless of how busy the team is. You spend less time tracking what has been sent and when. And when a customer is not interested, you find out faster instead of waiting indefinitely.

Tools used

Works with your existing email setup. Tracks open quotes in a simple spreadsheet or connected to your current system. No new software required.
